All accompanied with a unique level of support and encouragement for you to make the changes and stick to them.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome – A systematic approach to relieving this widely misunderstood condition. We will design a package of care which considers your stress levels, gut flora integrity, your tolerance of FODMAPs and the mechanical action of your digestive system. Step by step your care will be adjusted to meet your very individual needs.
Women’s Health And Hormonal Care – Whether you suffer from PMS or Menopausal symptoms your diet and lifestyle can do a lot to complement other forma of women’s health care. By understanding your lifestyle, your symptoms and your dietary patterns we can help to stabilise some of the fluctuations in your hormones which may be exacerbating your symptoms.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome – PCOS can affect so many aspects of a woman’s health. The key to managing the syndrome is to stabilise hormones and to maintain a healthy weight. We will work closely with you to help you understand your condition and how you can gain back control. Improving your resistance to insulin will help you to manage your weight which in turn can relieve or in some cases reverse the symptoms of PCOS.

Frequently asked questions?
Will I be asked to prepare anything for my appointment? We may ask you to complete a food and activity diary for two or three days prior to your appointment. Evidence shows this to be the most accurate way of building a picture of a person’s diet and lifestyle. It also enables us to spend more time getting to know you when we meet.
Will I be weighed? You will be offered the opportunity to check your weight during your appointment using electronic scales. However, if you prefer to monitor your own weight you can. You will not be asked to undress to be weighed although you may choose to remove your shoes and heavy jackets etc.
How often will I need to see the dietitian? It really depends on why you are working with our dietitian. Some issues can be sorted out with one appointment and a telephone follow up to check that all is okay. Other issues like weight management may need more intensive, longer term care packages.
How do care packages work? Long term support can be arranged in packages of care over a few months, usually three months at a time. These packages are paid in advance and can include a combination of face to face appointments with remote support via text or email. Packages will always be tailored to meet your needs and budget and start from around £300.00 for three months’ care.
Will I be asked to buy supplements? No, we are not aligned to any supplement companies. We don’t sell any supplements or dietary aids at WomanKind Healthcare. You may be advised to supplement your diet with a nutrient like vitamin D for instance. You would always be advised of at least three reputable supplement brands to choose from on the high street. Some patients need to follow a course of probiotic treatment. You will be advised of specific products which have been used in clinical trials and where ever possible given a choice of brands to buy on line or from retailers.
